Bought it to press axles into quad roller skates, works perfect!!

This press is capable of numerous pressing tasks and it's well built. The tolerances feel relatively smooth and it arrived well lubricated. It's a great alternative to my hydraulic press for smaller tasks such as setting snaps or rivets in leather projects. It comes with a few common dies and there are many other dies out there that would be compatible. The press itself is pretty heavy and stable. You can mount it to a bench if desired but it will hold it's own without mounting if you're just doing lighter stuff. The handle is easy to adjust and allows for minimal or maximum pressing leverage. I like it... it doesn't take up too much space on the bench and does the job really well.

I have thought about purchasing an arbor press many times for very specific purposes, but always found another way to do whatever it was I thought I needed one for. I just couldn’t justify the cost for what I felt would be a limited use tool for me. Now that I have this one, I found it to be more useful than I initially thought I would. I use it for a variety of things, but I am most thrilled with its ability to remove and install roll pins. That function alone makes it worth it for me.The unit was very-well packed with foam in a heavy duty cardboard box for shipping. Despite its heavy weight, it arrived in perfect shape. It had a heavy coating of oil to prevent any rust.Overall, I am really happy with this arbor press and wish I would have picked one up sooner.
