I am a hobby welder, I have previous owned an AC/DC stick welder but gave it to a friend because didn't use it much plus it was extremely heavy. I have never owned a MIG welder and the price and small light weight size of this welder was worth trying. I have used the welder to repair an item I have and the welder works great. I used the SYN MIG gasless method and all went well. I set the amps to the recommended amps given in the setting chart and according to the instructions the voltage and wire feed rate is automatically set. This worked good. I was a little concerned that my power source would be good enough to run the welder. The manual says to use a power source with a 50 amp breaker and I do not have this. I did my first welding using 120 volts on a 15 amp breaker and the welder worked great, never did trip the breaker and maintained a steady 120 amp arc. The instruction manual is not the best but good enough to get me welding, some of the photos in the manual lacked detail due to brightness and contrast. If you need customer support their is an email address in the manual to contact, there is no phone number. I did need some questions answered and used the email for contact. I was pleased with the response time, I received a reply to my email in several hours. The welder seems to be nice quality. I'm giving this welder a 5 star rating, I am going fix several items around my that house that require a welding repair.

I am not a professional by no means , but I feel pretty confident in the welds this welder performs, I think it’s a great bargain at the price point, or much more , I have welded for a few hours on it now and it’s worked great.

I was stepdical at first cas thay all day that work great but this one top them off just hope it last a long time I'm tired of buying welders

Received this today and it is absolutely amazing the beads that it lays and the penetration is great I have welded for years with Lincoln and this lays a better bead highly recommend
