Yes it is a two point sling. Attaches to standard screw in sling studs.

Q: do i need to buys sling swivels for my mossberg 500 with this sling. or does it come with them?

The one I ordered came with the swivels.

Q: what is the maximum length it will extend to?

I am not sure the exact measurement on extended length but I am a very large guy and it works well for me , with room to expand .. best sling I ownn

Q: Would this be heavy enough for a 6 or 7 pound AR rifle?

Oh yes; 1” nylon webbing is very strong. Could change out the sling swivels to QD, if needed.
