Perfect Tiny Blade
The only issue I have with this knife is as much Amazon's fault as it is my own, and it has nothing to do with the quality of the knife. Amazon threw all the miniature versions in with the regular sized ones, and I didn't catch that when I bought the PEI mini. I could exchange it, but I've decided not to.What a fantastic little blade. It'll work well as a neck knife, but I can also see it being used exclusively for carving given its wonderful ergonomics. As with all the knives I've purchased from Kizer, it's a razor from the box. Great packaging and presentation. Solid all around. The translucent PEI looks great against the black blade, which fits perfectly into the sheath. I finally have the tiny knife for my collection that doesn't cost over $400, and it'll be put to great use.

An Excellent Fixed Blade EDC knife.
This review is for the Sandalwood Handled, Nitro V, full size Harpoon. This is a fantastic knife, and came wicked sharp right out of the box. The blade length is just right, and is very slicey. The spine is a nice and sharp 90 degrees which is great for striking ferrocerium rods. the sandalwood handle is beautiful and is just big enough for my 2xl glove sized hands (Though I may add a lanyard for a bit extra purchase). The knife when sheathed can be pocket carried if you have pants with larger pockets such as BDUs, but might be a bit big for smaller pockets and tighter pants. Also in regard to pocket carry, the thumb ramp on the sheath can be used to deploy the knife if used against the side of the pocket (may take a little practice.). This is very likely to become my daily EDC fixed blade. Over all, this is a very nice knife and cannot be beat for the price (50$ as of 5-6-2025)

Best edge geometry out of the box…!!!
After receiving this today I felt compelled to write a review. I’ve been collecting knives for many years now. Lately I’m on a fixed blade kick. Scout carry more specifically. Let me tell you…. The edge geometry of this knife straight out the box rivals only that of microtech in my experience…. I recently picked up a ZT0004 at 5x the cost of this and the edge isn’t even close to this Kizer. I don’t know how they do it or why it’s so hard for other big names to do it… looked at a Benchmade at the store the other day…. The edge geometry was awful….. like Michael J Fox works there and is in charge of sharpening prior to packaging. For the money, and the options available mixer is the way to go…. Do yourself a favor. If you are looking for a good edc fixed blade, at least check this one out first…. Worth every cent….!!!

Very nice but watch out for the corner by your fingers.
I think its a pretty nice knife. I like the shape and the handle a lot. It's a little harder to remove from the sheath than I would like but I imagine that it just needs to be broken in. the only real issue I have with it is that your fingers don't really have any protection from the blade. II's sharp right to the corner near your fingers, so it's very easy to cut your pointer finger if you grip close to the blade or your hand ends up sliding on the smooth handle. As long as you don't do that its great.

Nice, small knife for carry and use.
Nice little knife. Good size and grippy handle. One item to note - There is a pointed sharp edge at the end of the blade closesr to the handle. I had to round it off as I actually cut myself on this pointed edge while using the knife. All else has been excellent so far.

Good quality great design.
Wanted to love it but it's too small to use for real work. Would make a great skinning knife but too small for utility work. I use my knives at work cutting heavy road fabric mostly but also anything else that needs cut. This knife failed miserably at that task just because the blade was too short and curved to stay in the cut. I thought about getting the full size but I'm not interested in painted d2 or g-10. If they had a full size in 3v with micarta I'd have bought it all ready. This is my second kizer and the quality was just as spot on as the 1st, knife and sheath both perfect. Tec lock is undesirable but easily changed. Depends on what you need it for if it will work for you.

Good first impression
The knife looks good, this thing cut me before even being out of the plastic bag so be careful, they could probably do handle up in the bag, but ultimately I wasn’t careful and thought a thin bag would protect me.It’s just big enough for me to fit all my fingers, The blade shape lets it be really slicey, Really light and thin, and looks killer. Not to mention it’s 3v for $50, great deal all around.
