Q: Would this be ok to keep any draughts off the back of the legs,and keep them warm,whilst sitting in an armchair,or is it too floppy for that? Thanks!

It molds round but it can flop off if it is leaning on back of chair with legs against it it would work, I have a recliner so use it under legs when they ache ,I love it! Also have one in bed with me to use in back and tummy instead of water bottle as won't need to rebook kettle.

I do. It switches itself off after about 90 mins anyway.

Q: I have just bought one of these heat pads, but it says do not use if you are diabetic, why is that, it is only a heat pad after all.

I don't know , as I am not medically trained, but my mother who is diabetic suffers alot with overheatedness, and so this could be a factor as many diabetics do get hotter and dehydrated quicker than those of us without the condition. However I would take the query up with your Dr.
