The eSATA has not worked on three of these
Pro:Unlike many of the external hard drives, this one has not "crashed" or died on me - thus no data loss.Con:I have run into two different problems with the fantom drives:1) On three different units the eSATA interface does not work. I have tried them on four different computers.2) They units are the "Green" drives (energy efficient?) which means that they keep shutting down on us - even when we are doing a large data backup.These were all used on PC based systems. I would not buy one again.
