Great little Pocket Knife!
Before I go any further in the review I want to say I did not receive a discount when I bought this knife nor was I given it for free, I paid for the item with my own money after researching various Pocket knives that I felt would suit my needs.-I bought this to keep on my keyring for everyday tasks like opening boxes, letters, packages but I was a little unsure on how well this would actually work considering its tiny size. But the size actually turned out to be perfect for my needs. The HONEYBEE comes in a nice little box as shown in my photos but that is all you get with the item. No care instructions etc are included but then at this price (I paid £19) I don't really expect there to be much else included but it would have been nice to have some form of care instructions with details on cleaning and maintaining etc and a little storage case would have definitely been welcome. It’s not the most expensive knife I have bought but I have had cheaper knives that came with a case or even a paracord key ring. The knife itself is very well made and even though it weighs just 17g it feels solid and the mechanism that keeps the knife "unfolded" or "open" doesn't feel flimsy at all and I would again describe it as solid. When I first got the Knife, I noticed that it was already fairly sharp, other reviewers stated that the HONEYBEE was razor sharp but I have to disagree with that, there was no way you could shave the hair on your arm with the blade, it just wasn't sharp enough. However, I am not saying I am unhappy with how sharp the blade comes, in fact I have paid more and had blades that came nowhere near as sharp as the HONEYBEE, I just wouldn't describe the HONEYBEE as being "Razor Sharp".Like with all knives I have owned, the first thing I did is spend a bit of time sharpening the blade and in less than 30 minutes the blade is now Sharp Enough that you can Shave the hairs from your arms. They say that a Sharp Blade is a Safe Blade. Its much safer when you don't need to put as much pressure behind the knife to be able to cut. When it comes to how the Knife looks I think this is a pretty good looking product. The HONEYBEE uses Stainless steel in its construction and the Blade has China etched into it. This might put some people off as China has a reputation for producing cheap steel but honestly, in the time I have had the blade I’ve been impressed with the quality. Will it hold its sharpness as good as some of the better-quality blades I’ve used over the years? Only time will tell, and I will make sure I edit my review in a few months of use to reflect any changes of opinion I have. Over the last few days I’ve used it quite a bit and I haven't had the need to sharpen it. The Razor-Sharp edge that I gave it seems to be holding just fine and there are no noticeable notches or burrs. This thing is so small and light I plan on adding a paracord loop to my HONEYBEE and keeping it on my keychain with my keys, usb drive and I.D. Fob.-Now onto the negatives. In my opinion, there really is very little wrong with the HONEYBEE but I want this review to be as accurate and honest as possible. I’ve said earlier in this review that I thought that the build quality for the HONEYBEE was pretty good and solid. I still think that but if I compare it to a better-quality knife such as the SPYDERCO MANBUG G-10 then I start to notice a few things that could be improved upon which are basically the ergonomics and handling of the knife. I realise that due to the small size of the HONEYBEE you aren’t going to have a knife that is as comfy to hold and use compared to a slightly larger knife like the MANBUG or even a cheaper 8cm blade model like the HIGHLANDER BLACK EAGLE .. but some of the edges could be a little rounder which would make the knife comfier to use. But in reality, I’m comparing the HONEYBEE to a knife that costs almost 5x more and another that is 3x the size.I know I’m meant to be on the negative part of this review but as I’m making a comparison I’d like to say that the blade on the HONEYBEE seems to be just as good as the MANBUG which is a knife that cost a hell of a lot more! I’d say that the HONEYBEE came just as sharp as my MANBUG did..Initially I thought about buying a second HONEYBEE for my son as a pocket knife for when he goes camping or to add to his toolkit. But I can see that unless you are careful and have some experience with knives you could quite easily cut yourself while folding the blade away. My son is 14 and not the most careful of teenagers and considering how sharp this is (even before I sharpened it) I would worry about accidents. Is that really a negative on the Knife? No, probably not. But it is what it is and due to how small the knife is I think this is just not suitable for my son. I did take a video of me opening the blade and then folding it away to better illustrate this point but for some reason the video just wouldn’t upload with the review... If anyone wants to take a look at it feel free to drop me a message and I’ll sort that out.I have included a few photos to show the scale of the HONEYBEE compared to a cheap Highlander 8cm folding lock knife and also showing the cardboard presentation box that the HONEYBEE arrived in.-My Conclusion:The SPYDERCO HONEYBEE is a good little functional knife and I fully expect it to last me quite a few years. It comes pretty sharp out of the box and it won't take much for you to get the blade truly razor sharp. I would rate the build quality as 8/10 and it looks to be able to hold its edge pretty well, I’ll update my review as time goes on.As for looks, it has a rather nice Brushed Stainless-Steel finish with the SPYDERCO logo acid etched onto the handle. There is a hole punched off centre in the base of the blade which is the trademarked SPYDERCO look. There's a sleek profile to the knife to go with the small size and I’d say this is one of the most attractive designs I’ve seen for a pocket knife. I’d give 9/10 for looks. As for value for money it would have been nice to have had a Keyring or Paracord loop and maybe some care instructions included but it's not a deal breaker for me. There is plenty of room to have a name engraved on the handle and combined with the presentation style box that the knife comes with this would be perfect for a gift. I’ll only give 7.5/10 for value for money just because I’d have liked a small case or keyring at this price point. (£19 GBP or $22.15 USD)I would highly recommend this knife if you want a small, reasonably priced folding pocket knife that you could easily keep on your bunch of keys for when you occasionally need a sharp blade that is close at hand. But if you want something for bigger jobs or if you want a knife for outdoors then I would recommend a bigger knife. It all comes down to what you want the knife for basically.I will buy the SPYDERCO brand again because they really do produce good solid quality products. I now own 2 SPYDERCO knives and I will probably buy more in the future. A low-quality knife just won’t keep its edge, this is not a low-quality product. 5 Star Amazon rating from me or 9/10 overall.

Perfect keyring knife
Need a knife for lots of jobs around fields (have horses). It is as small as a key when closed and when open provides a perfect utility knife whcih comes very sharp.Unlike other knives, this one shuts firmly and is easy to open due to shape of blade. Fits nicely on a keyring and is forgotten about until needed, which is most every day for one reason or another packages to open, tape or fruit to cut etc. You really would not know it was in your pocket. it is safe on keyring and will not open accidentally.Great size, light weight, robust and sharp.

Nice little EDC
I decided to pick this up after using the Spyderco Grasshopper for some time. Its a neat little knife, typical spyderco build quality, and very handy to keep on keys or just as an EDC knife for opening packaging etc. It is very small knife, which does somewhat limit what you can so with it.My only gripe was that, out of the box, it wasnt as sharp as I've found previous spydercos to be. However, a quick sharpen and strop and its shaving sharp like my others. The Honey Bee has its place, but if you want a more versatile knife I'd recommend the slightly larger Grasshopper (which I've inlcuded in pictures for comparison).

Great sharp little knife
Great sharp little knife. It's absolutely tiny and so it fits perfectly onto a key chain. Feels solid, well made and has a re-assuring snap to opening and closing the blade. It's perfect if you always have small packages to open and you could almost forget it's there which is exactly what I wanted from it.The only downside is as it's so small it can sometimes be extra awkward to open and close and you have to be careful not to get your fingers in it while closing but that that's what you get when you go for key chain portability. All in all a very cute little knife...if you can call a knife cute that is!

Great so far ...
Well firstly it arrived very quickly and in a lovely little box. More importantly it was sharp out of the box and is surprisingly ergonomic for such a small knife. It is easy to open/close but it does require 2 hands, can be done with 1 if needed but it's a very awkward and fiddly process lol.The blade complies with the incredibly strict UK knife laws and it fits neatly on a key ring without feeling bulky or heavy so can be carried around everywhere without any issues.Have yet to see how well it keeps an edge or how easy it sharpens though but so far I am very impressed. If this proves to be an issue then I will update accordingly but if not then assume awesomenss :-)
