I followed the instructions, opted out of the plastic wrap (thank God) and had some tingling that turned into a burning sensation. I went ahead at about 7 min in, and got into a luke warm water because I'm nervous at this point. The luke warm water felt like hot lava! I continued because I still needed to shower and get this stuff off! After a longer than usual shower, I finally could somewhat tolerate the water. It's too soon to see any results so I'm unsure how to feel other than, what just happened to me?

I followed the instructions, wrapping my legs in plastic wrap. Instructions were to wait 5-10 minutes and rinse. Within 3 minutes my legs were in fire. When I finally got it rinsed off, my skin looked blistered. I definitely will not recommend this product.

I was intrigued when I saw this product. To be honest, I was a little skeptical due to a price lower than many skin care products. I tried it by applying it to dry skin. I forgot the time and had it on for about 20 minutes. I was not a fan of wrapping my leg in plastic wrap.I am still on the fence about the efficacy of this but will continue using it. I will try to update this review in about a month. I just wish I knew when I could expect visible results. Full disclosure: I am in my 70's and a pear shape.

I’ve really enjoyed adding The Act Hot Body Wrap Mask / Cream to my self care routine. The scent of the cream is light and pleasant. It absorbs in well and a little goes a long way, which is great and I can see this 8.8 oz tub lasting a pretty long time. I’ve been using my washable castor oil wraps to wrap the areas of my body that I apply this cream to. I do see a difference in the warming aspect when I wrap the area versus not wrapping it. I also like wrapping the areas so I can do other things around the house while I have this on. I like to do a facial or manicure after applying it, it’s always great to double up on self care! The slight warming sensation is nice and I like that I can “feel” it, making me think it’s actually doing something. There is a slight cooling sensation when I wash it off, which also feels nice. Now I haven’t been using it long enough to notice if it’s actually burning fat or tightening my skin as the listing states it does, but it does feel nice on my skin, I enjoy the warming effect, it is soothing on my sore back and shoulders and it does leave my skin moisturized and super smooth. I have noticed an actual difference on the feel of my skin where I had applied it, it really does leave my skin feeling silky smooth. As I said a little does go a long way so I do think it’s a great value for the price since I will get many uses from the tub. Another added bonus, the tub looks nice on my shelf in my bathroom. I like that it’s a more classic and modern look, no bright colors, patterns or design. All in all, I really like this cream and think it’s been a great addition to my self care routine and do recommend giving it a try.

But it has fairly ugly packaging (I want my self care products to be beautiful also!)I have quite sensitive skin, and so I'm generally cautious when trying new products like this (though not severe enough that I first patch test). I'm happy to report that I did not experience any redness or irritation during or after using this.Bottom line: I would not purchase again.

So far, I have enjoyed using "the act" Hot Body Wrap Mask. It smells fantastic and has a nice creamy texture. I have been using the body wrap mask daily before my shower and it rinses off well and does leave my skin feeling soft and smoother. The warming sensation when applied is not overpowering, but very relaxing. There is a slight cooling sensation when the mask is washed off as well. I have only been using the mask for a little over a week. And, although I have noticed a difference in the softness and smoothness of my skin, I have really not seen any added skin firmness yet. However, after prolonged use, you may see a difference.
