AMAZING - Works better than prescription steroids or other anti-inflammatory remedies
We used this on 2 cats. One is 17 years old, he's had skin and arthritis issues and been on/off prednisolone for some time. Our other cat is only 4 years old and she's had what we suspect is a rheumatoid type arthritis because nothing shows up on x-rays (had multiple vets examine her) but for such a young cat, she's lost her ability to jump and on rainy days she is obviously more stiff than on warmer/dryer days. Even though they can't pin point a cause, she was obviously dealing with some pain/stiffness. We had been treating her with both a steroid and antibiotic shot every 8-12 weeks to reduce inflammation, but I didn't like the idea of doing that long term and the effects of the prescription seemed to wear off very quickly. The shots lasted maybe 2-3 weeks at best.I have them both on an Omega 3 supplement and started googling other natural remedies because it broke my heart to see the 4 year old in pain. She recently stopped being active completely, she no longer asked to play. All she did was curl up and try to avoid our other cats. She couldn't even get comfortable sitting on my lap which is something she used to love to do.Desperately started googling and found this, figured what the hell won't hurt to try it. Seemed to good to be true. After 2 weeks the 4 year old is back to her active self. It's absolutely mind blowing to me. She's playing, she's running around, she's social again, no longer avoiding the other cats, she's obviously more comfortable and active and back to her old self. And our 17 year old??? It's like it took 5 years off for him. He's way more comfortable/relaxed, much more social and it's helping with his skin issues as well in ways the steroid never did. I'm at the point where I'm able to start weaning him off the steroid. This supplement gave our cats a new lease on life. The 17 year old doesn't mind it mixed in his food. The 4 year old does, so for her I just open up a capsule, mix it with a tiny bit of water and put in a plastic syringe. She doesn't seem to mind the taste when given this way, but doesn't like it in her food. Thankfully no side effects, they tolerate it well. We are so grateful we found this. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

WOW!
My 16-year-old cat suddenly, but not unexpectedly, began to show signs of pain and stiffness. He is a very active cat for his age, but he stopped being active and no longer asked to play. He just curled up and slept.I started googling and came across this; the reviews seemed promising, so I decided to try it. In about a week, my cat is back to normal. He's playing and running around.Fortunately, there have been no side effects, and he is tolerating it well. I'm overjoyed and relieved that I found this. I can't recommend it enough.

Saved my cat from her arthritic pain
My 12-year old cat developed arthritis in her knee and she was in constant pain. Vet prescribed meds didn't come in cat-safe dosages and we had to cut the pills and expose the bitter core. Nothing would mask the taste and whatever we could get into her, she'd promptly vomit it up. As the meds wore off, she'd be yowling from pain and it became a vicious cycle of pain in the morning, dazed during the day and pill-trauma in the evening. At wits end, I researched what I could on long-term inflammation meds for cats and came across Duralactin. Literature searches didn't provide a useful mechanism of action (really? hyper-immunized cows?) and I thought it was a load of snake-oil chicanery with no data on the long-term safety effects on felines. But as the weeks wore on, the pain just drove my poor cat miserable and I would try anything to alleviate her symptoms. She ate the first dose well (please be aware that cats that are intolerant to dairy may not react well to Duralactin) and five days after the first dose, her gait became less stiff and she was more mobile. Within two weeks of daily dosing, she's back to her old self.A year later, she's a 12-year-old cat that's active and affectionate and ready to hunt her toy mouse. Vet X-rays show that she still has arthritis, but it's holding steady and she's unaffected--albeit, her knee tends to be stiffer on damp, cold days and the 3rd tier of her cat tower takes a bit more negotiating than it did in her younger days. There was one time supply chain issues disrupted our supplies and we were without Duralactin for a week and a half. Five days after her last dose, she's dragging her knee and reluctant to move. Once we got our stock replenished, she recovered within a week.I'm still unsure of the long-term effects of Duralactin, but I'd rather she be pain-free in her senior years than to suffer in misery for the foreseeable future.
