My kitty is a senior cat, who has hyperthyroidism and is on a wet food only diet, has been waking us up multiple times a night, as she wants to eat far more frequently now, even with being on medication for her condition. I came across this product and being desperate to get a restful night's sleep, I bought this to try out. Have had it a month now and have it set up to feed her 3 times throughout the nights, and after about a week of her getting used to it (understanding she doesn't need to wake us up for food, she was fine eating from it, from the start), I can say it has been a success. Finally getting to sleep through the night without all the interruptions, the app works well, the food is kept fresh and doesn't dry out, it's easy to clean and maintain...so overall it's a win on this purchase. Note some reviews have said the height is too tall...my kitty is a small cat and she has no problem eating out of it...she was already eating from an elevated stand, so this wasn't a big change for her. I would say it's definitely worth the money especially as it comes with a 2 year warranty. Tip put your cat's most favorite food in it to help encourage them to like it and want to eat from it. I also like that the app keeps a log of when and for long your cat eats from it, very helpful for monitoring their eating habits.

So far so good. We used this feeder while on a trip to the beach and it worked flawlessly. We had a video camera monitoring the cats and feeders so we could tell that everything was operating smoothly. Ignore users claiming you can’t feed more than once in a day. They’re wrong. You can manually re-open the feeding compartment for up to 4 hours via the app as many times as you want in a day, and each time you can select which of the 3 meals you want to open. The feeding tray is clearly numbered and the setup process is very straightforward unless you aren’t very experienced with tech. If your cat is picky about food temp, you might hit some issues, but our cats are happy with room temp food so there were no issues. We ended up buying 3 and using them in conjunction with 3 dry food feeders so the cats could graze throughout the day between wet food meals. One recommendation is to turn off the bell that rings at scheduled meal times. It’s too loud and you can’t adjust volume so just turn it off. The cats have great hearing so they can hear the feeders whirring and clicking as the meal is being prepared. Also they have pre-established feeding times so they knew when the come and check.

Please be aware that the majority of reviews on this product page are not for the refrigerated wet food feeder, but instead for a dry food feeder. I didn't scouer reviews before buying but I had my eye on this feeder for a while, just didn't like the plastic bowls the first iteration had. Once I saw this I bought it knowing the reviews were for something else, which is why I'm hoping this review is helpful for others.I wasn't able to use this feeder with my cat because the open bowl is too cold and my can't wouldn't eat the food. She has used an automatic wet food feeder before, and she did go up to the bowl and took a couple licks, but then walked away. I tried it in the morning for 2 days before considering that maybe the food was still too cold. I touched the corner of the open bowl and it was as cold as ice lol, so I scooped some of the food out to touch it and again, cold as ice!The selling point of this feeder is that it will keep your cat's food fresh, but then the open position is not refrigerated so the food can warm up enough for your cat to eat it. This isn't the case; this isn't what's happening. Maybe this was the case with the plastic bowl, but now with the stainless steel bowl some changes need to be made to the product, because stainless steel cools down faster for longer than plastic.One way to maybe make this work is to schedule the feedings well in advance to allow the food to warm up, but I don't feel like I should have to do that with something at this price point, and I'm not sure it would even work. Additionally, the app only allows you to have the front bowl open for 4 hours, sighting the attempt to keep the food fresh; so who knows how long - if even possible since the bowl is stainless steel and there's still active refrigeration going on behind the open bowl - it would take for the food to warm up enough for a cat to eat it.I'm pretty disappointed with this purchase and the functionality because I knew I wanted this feeder since it became available for pre-order, but didn't like that the bowls were plastic. So here I am waiting again, this time hoping they will continue testing and make sure it functions the way they say it will, so cats will actually eat the food (idk any cats who like stone cold food but maybe they're out there)!

Pros: It does exactly what it is supposed to do and it does it well.Cons: My cat pawed it once and it's all scratched up so the finish is NOT durable. And, you can program three feedings per session only, if your cat requires six feedings every 24 hours like mine you have to set two feeding sessions (three feedings each) and use the app once a day to switch between the two sessions. After the first session of three feedings has ended you use the app to switch to the second session, and then switch back to the first session the next day after the second session has ended.It's still a major improvement over preparing six meals daily.So, you load it up with two days of food, create two cycles, switch cycles with the app once a day. It takes you from preparing twelve feedings to filling the tray once and swapping the cycles in the app twice.
