Apple Blossom by Apple Blossom Body Spray (tbc check aerosol) 75ml

This perfume takes me back to the 70s and 80s. My Mum always wafted of Apple Blossom and when you opened her wardrobe door it flooded out to meet you. Sadly she's now 90, has Alzheimer's and is in Residential Care. But I saw this and took a chance as it isn't now made by Helena Rubinstein. Gave it to Mum for Mother's Day just in case it brought back any memories and I think she's smelled of it ever since, so it must have been evocative enough for her.I will say that I don't think it's quite the same aroma, the Lily of the Valley seems to be a bit stronger. But could that be me remembering it differently, my sense of smell changing? Who knows, all I can say is that it is still a lovely perfume and was a great success in bringing back the past to both my Mum and me.

This is so sweet. An old fashioned perfume maybe but it’s lush.

I was hoping that this would smell exactly like the Helena Rubenstein perfume I used to wear in the 60s but don't think it's quite there. It was a long time ago now & maybe I remember it differently but it is close enough & I'm happy to wear this to bring back some happy memories☺️

This is the only perfume I have used for over 50 years,smells the same as it always has

I bought this purely to remind me of my mum who sadly passed many years ago, this was her favourite perfume although hers was by helena rubinstein which i can not get, but this is very near it if not the same smell i remember on my dear mum. Its not overpowering like a lot of flower fragrances and its lovely to wear in the day or at night when going somewhere nice, it wouldnt be a young persons perfume preference but to me at my age (50's) i love it.

This is nothing like the original Helena Reubenstein Apple Blossom perfume, as my mum originally thought. She doesn't like it at all.

When I ordered this I was hoping it would be the same as the Helena Rubenstein one I used to wear in the 1960s. I was thrilled to find it is, as well as being very nostalgic it's perfect for the warmer summer days, it's a glorious cloud of fresh scented blossom, very floral and feminine. A very affordable price too, highly recommended.
