This is a great combination to make an extension cord. Well-made and a great price.

Superior constuction
If you need to make a high quality extension cord up to 12/3, this is the plug and receptacle to use. Excellent instructions, easy to attach to your extension cord, durable exterior unlikely to break. If your going to use it outside where it might be exposed to rain, you could inject some silicon in at the top of the device just to be extra safe.. Again this is a well made superior product. Don't waste your time at the big box store, this is it.

So easy to use to fix my extension cord.
This product was the second type of plug that I purchased to fix the extension cord I broke. It is so easy to use that I was able to fix my extension cord in about five minutes. Really, that easy. I was unable to use the first product I purchased because it required hand and finger strength that I just don't have. This item is just very, very easy to manipulate and work with. Easy to install and safe.

Hard to fit to wire
Did not fit together smoothly.

Solid product
Not much to say. It's a solid, well-built product that works. Very happy with how tight they fit together. Don't want my audio rack coming unplugged while in use. Extremely easy to fit up.
