Colorful placemats
These are beautiful placements but as with all Pimpernel placemats the stain resistant surface gets pitted and comes off in spots after about a year of wear. The vibrant flower color looks great in the summer.

Well Made, Sturdy Construction; Vibrant Print
These placemats are really well made, and I really like them. They are not soft, but are made from hard pressed cork with a laminated, heat resistant front where the artwork is visible. The sides are also laminated. They do not seem to be bothered at all by hot plates set atop them for a long time, and they wipe off easily with a damp sponge followed by a dry towel. I got the matching coasters too, and they are made in the same quality way.
