Q: Can these be placed under a heat lamp?

Yes, but in my opinion the vines at Walmart are better looking hold there shape WAY better and are cheaper. I returned this one.

Q: Can these hold a small/medium boa? And can these hold themselves up if bent right?

Please do not twist and bend at a large angle. When the room temperature in winter is low, bending can cause cracks. Please warm up to 30 degrees to make the tree vine soft and easy to bend. I hope these would be helpful for you.

I didn’t cut mine, but yes you can

Q: could i use this for my whites tree frog in a 18x18x24 tank??

It has a texture like dry cork board. I don't know if your frog can cling to that type of surface. There are other vines that cost more for shorter lengths that have a smooth that may work better. Search AMZ for 'Exo Terra Jungle Vine, Reptile Terrarium Decoration'. It may work better unless your frog has toenails and can dig into the cork vine.
