Q: Is this the PM-5/360 PC model clinometer with degree and percent scales?

Yes, the left scale is in degrees and the right percent. The maximum percentage is 150% (~ 56 °).

Suunto's website page for this clinometer model number lists operating temperatures as follows: -30 to + 60deg. C (-22 to +140 deg. F.) I've used mine to obtain ground slopes for preliminary design in laying out septic drainfields. I stick a pole in the ground and make a mark on the pole at eye level, then walk up or down slope and shoot the mark and determine ground slope. With a follow-up topographic survey for the detailed design phase, I have found that the clinometer is generally within one degree of the topo. Works very well for quickly determining ground slope.
