Actually steel and fit perfect in my 2020 redcat volcano epx ***** I have now bought a second 1 my first 1 is still in there and working but is missing 1 of the little pins that slide into the cup to make it drive but I have no complaints so far cause I have majorly upgraded the drive train on the front and beat the crap out of every thing and this shaft has worked great that's y I bought the same thing to replace the 1 that is going bad. I straight up twisted the original aluminum 1 off right after I went brushless

I ended up converting my Volcano EPX Pro from the stock 3s ESC to a 150a/6s and a much larger motor. Nothing Aluminum has held up to the beating, especially not the driveshafts (yes, plural). The pins would snap, the ends would twist up like a pretzel rod, it was CHAOS, to say the least! Thankfully, this hardened steel variant of the driveshaft exists, or I'd be stuck babying my Volcano instead of beating the snot out of it..I have given this driveshaft quite a beating and so far it has held up just fine. It has developed some rust on the joints, but that's to be expected, especially if you're still using 90mm dogbones with the stock drive-cups, and it's nothing a drop of silicone oil and a paper towel can't clean up.Overall, the price is significantly more, but it's worth twice what they're charging if you NEED a steel driveshaft, when you take into account how many aluminum driveshafts you'll end up replacing.10/10

Solid and strong, just wish it was a few mm longer...

bought this it lasted approx a month until one of the pins fell out.. I ordered a replacement with shipping by 11am next day payed extra got delayed when it was supposed to be arriving.I would avoid this brand for almost all parts its no where the same quality as Redcat brand parts.

Perfect fit and feels heavier than stock. Will update review if it doesnt hold up.
