Definitely worth it
huge difference using this. humidifiers and heated tubing should be mandatory features on ALL cpap machines. Mine has a humidifier, but no heated hose. As a result, I got rainout with humidity set really low and averaged only 6 hours sleep. Using this IMMEDIATELY produced an 8 hour night for me. The first in a long time then. Has continued to perform solid now for a few weeks. Highly recommend.

Seems to work and a lot cheaper than a CPAP with a built in heated line. So far, I haven't had rain-out problems when using the item but I live in California and it doesn't get that cold. The control switch is a really good idea since I can leave the item plugged in and only turn it on if I wake in the night sounding like Darth Vader. Without the switch I would need to get out of bed and plug the unit in.The tube initially had a strong smell of plastic but that has dissipated. It is also a lot stiffer than the unheated tube that I had.

THE Solution for 'Rain-out"
This product totally eliminates 'rain-out'. I has been struggling for years with moisture accumulation in my CPAP mask on cold nights. Been using for a couple of months now on a Philips Respironics machine with no problems. The hose heats up quickly and there is a handy on-off switch near the machine-end of the hose.

It showed up?
Heated tube was defective upon arrival. I needed the power supply from my normal one going bad…. These products really aren’t built to last.

Very helpful for avoiding condensation issues
I purchased this to help deal with rainout in my CPAP hosing. It's been great for that. I can now use much higher humidification, which makes the CPAP much more comfortable, and I've had only slight condensation in the hose on one occasion. My only complaint is the cost; it's a little expensive, but works very well and I don't see myself going back to a non-heated hose.

Heats air flow
It heats the air flow from my VPAP. YOU CAN TELL THE DIFFERENCE.
