Daily Meditation CSB Audio Bible Player- Christian Standard Electronic Talking Bible with Charger and Earphone, Portable to Listen at Anywhere Anytime

My choice was the CSB version read by Jon Mohr, who reads simply and clearly. The player's controls are simple to use. The player's sound volume is sufficient for a room. There is a hole in the corner of the player for a comfortable neck strap (not included) to be added. It is important to constrain the player to always lie against the chest or belly while walking. I recommend wearing an outer garment on top of the player to keep the player from flopping around and turning the wrong way while the body is in motion while walking. The included instrumental music selections --- that can be played separately from the Bible readings --- are very relaxing.

This is excellent for listening to The Word while you rest your eyes! Available in multiple translations and I purchased my two favorites! The battery charge lasts a long time.

The Bad: 1. Headphones are cheap garbage.2. Attaching the wrist strap is a total nightmare.3. I hate all the codes.4. Manual is in microscopic print. You can barely read it.5. Player is large and kind of bulky.6. The bible is recorded on a tf-micro USB card. Remove it and the entire player is rendered useless.The Good: 1. Excellent recording of the CSB Bible. Voice is very soothing.2. Battery Life seems long lasting.2. The external speaker is very deep and nice sounding.I have this same recording on my audible app. I got this player to keep from draining the battery on my phone.My final verdict: Waste of money. I hate this thing. The same bible on the audible app on my phone is very easy to navigate and sounds just as good.

I love this bible. The only issue I have is that mine will not accept the method of entering the six-digit code to go directly to a book, chapter, and verse which is different from a chapter that I may already listening to. To do so, I must take a longer route to get there which the instructions accurately explain all methods. All instructions are accurate except the issue I just mentioned. I still give five stars on the overall rating. I hope in the future there will be a version with the capability to also use AC power so that it can be used when the batter is charging, even if it means the battery must be removed and charged separately. It may be better if the bible player is upgraded in the case to allow easier removal for the battery for replacing with a second freshly recharged battery, charged with a separate charger. Note: The strap doesn't come with the unit any longer. It was not listed on my list of included items while case is still built to allow for the strap to attach. I would use it if it were included.

I like to use this Bible. I can readily find the Book I want, I can readily find the chapter in the Book I want, but to find the verse I am looking for, especially within a long chapter, is quite a challenge sometimes. I know there is a fast forward and a fast back, but this is difficult to use because you do not know where you are in the chapter as you fast-forward/back. Then when you have read what you want to read, and then want to re-read that passage, you have to go back through the entire process again. It would be much better if you could go directly to a certain verse.

I thoroughly enjoy listening to God's word being read. These can be used with headphones, or plugged into your vehicles audio auxiliary jack. My wife and I love playing ours all night; we go to sleep listening, and awaken listening to God's Word. We get about 24 hrs of play on each charge, and the LIon battery is replaceable. Daily Meditations produces these in several translations; I think I have them all. These are a great way to spend time with the Lord! The price is reasonable. I do hope DM will eventually make them with the option to listen to a range e.g. Matt - John, or Gen - Duet. I wholeheartedly recommend these electronic Bibles.

It difficult to find different chapters

I so appreciate than I can turn up the volume and move about the house and even do dishes or mow my yard and be able to still hear this. I have this audio Bible in several versions. This is my favorite audio Bible compared to other manufacturers.
