This is great quality. I had to cut into it to allow a bulge of something we have fixed to the mixer, but the type of material will not fray and produce dust or anything like that. I'd also be comfortable using this through light rain

Good Analog to Digital Conversion Experience
We had a 32-channel Yamaha analog mixer before this. I chose the TF5 because 32 channels could all be on the "top level" with volume sliders for each (like an analog) and no need to change levels to find 32 channels. We noticed an improvement in audio quality by switching from analog to digital.
