AmazonBasics offers Red charging Cable for Ordinary Micro USB jack. How conveniently confusing
I fell for a petty con by Amazonbasics yesterday.Needed a USB-C cable for my OnePlus8 . So typed Charging cable for OnePlus 8 in the box and scrolled down to find dozens of sellers selling USB-C cables.Among them, hidden in plain sight was an ordinary Micro -USB cable from Amazon Basics. Distinct Red in colour, just like other Oneplus cable optionsThought that Amazonbasics will be a safe bet being a large reputed org (although their cable was among the highest priced at Rs 599) so paid out.Received the cable today, to find it being the ordinary micro USB type and of no use to me, went to the Amazon site, as a long standing Prime customer, to request return or a replacement with the cable type needed. .Find that the specific return options have been blocked, forcing only exact 1 to 1 replacement Also the customer care link/ bot has vanished from the menu...Poor show, Amazon...Incidentally, the cable I needed is also available on your portal. for Rs 549https://www.amazon.in/gp/product/B07CWGRGX6/ref=crt_ewc_title_dp_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=AT95IG9ONZD7S

Good buy...
I bought this for my Logitech G 633S headset, I was having few issues with the sound in the headset. So I decided to check by changing the cable.This one is about 10feet long same as the original headset cable.I must say it's better than the logitech original cable. It's very sturdy, heavy and the sound quality of headset has improved with no distortion. I have not tested for charging, but definitely worth the money.
