Yesterday, I found a tick on my cat's neck. Panicked a bit sad it was the first time I found one. Watched a few videos about how to remove a tick from a cat. They used very similar tools there. I found this set and ordered straight away with the same day delivery. Soon after the order was delivered, we started an operation "Remove a tick from Kittie". She hates being picked up, let alone touching her anywhere else apart from the head. We used a towel to wrap her up and put her on the table. My husband was holding her, and I was talking to her in with a calm voice. Seriously, we were preparing for it longer than it actually took us to remove the unwanted addition. Few seconds and the tick was out, including its head and legs. Success! Kittie had an extra yoghurty treat, her favourite, for being patient 😊. To disinfect the wound, I used RenaSan anticeptic gel, which is approved for use on animals and is non-irritating, non-sting, and lick-safe (found on Amazon as well some time ago). I am very happy with the quality and ease of use of this tick remover. Sturdy tool which is very comfortable to hold and operate, and I like the lovely metal box it comes in. Haven't used the tweezer yet, but, as someone mentioned in the comments, the ends are quite sharp and would require careful operation.
