Yep, it's a carburetor.

I was tired of messing with the CV carb on my 2003 Piaggio BV 200. Tossed this carb on and it fired right up. Got about a 15mph increase to top speed compared to the Walbro piece of crap that came stock. It was jetted a little rich for the scooter but that is to be expected with a universal carb.

Didn't like the location of the overflow. It should be on the side of the float bowl for my 1977 Suzuki RM125. Tried to change the bowl from my old carb and they are different float assembly so bowl would not interchange.

Ordered 2 of these. One of them keeps overflowing and spilling all the gasoline on the floor. I have thoroughly cleaned it but there appears to be a defect in the float valve or its seat and it keeps pouring gas into the float chamber. I guess I just need to set the petcock in "OFF" position when not using the bike, but I would rather not have to worry about that.

My only wish is that they come with smaller jets. I have to buy jets every time I buy the carbs. I have a bag full of #200 jets that I can't use

Bought this carb for my 1974 Suzuki TM 250. Easy to replace and very little tweaking needed. Pretty much replace and play. Highly recommend this carb for any bike taking a 32-33VM. Great price also....cant beat it
