Does an excellent job lightening from level 6/7 upto level 9/10.
You use/employ like a hair bleach product. Application time is somewhat longer but with less scalp irritation, and with a neutral (reducing brassiness) tonal character. Doesn’t have quite as strong a color lifting power as bleach, but for its range, gotta love that it keeps the reddish/brassy tones to a minimum almost zero. Does have ammonia, but also has conditioners to support hair integrity.

Great option for removing fashion color from blonde hair
I tried color removers before that over processed my hair and I struggled trying to get a dark blue out of my platinum blonde hair. Once I got it to a teal blue I used this ml.00 and it took me back to my platinum! Without bleach. I love this product!

I like this color lightener, but I should of used 40vol instead of 20....
