Feng Shui Brass Gong Desktop Zen Art for Fortune + Free Red String Bracelet H1301

I think this Feng Shui brass gong is perfect. It's exactly what I expected. It's lightweight and goes perfectly with my decorating style . Its size makes it perfect for any table or shelf . It's not flimsy despite the light weight but I wouldn't call it super sturdy either..if you dropped it or if it fell off a shelf, the wooden frame would surely come apart. But the gong itself would be fine . Value for the money: I'd say it's worth the price. I love it!

A lot of the other mini gongs available on amazon are ornate with "carvings" on the gong but this is going to be amongst other ornate things. I was really glad to find a simple clean design gong that could support the feng shui and accent the space without making it feel messy or overdone. Cheap price, good quality, and the ring of the gong is respectable for its size. The sound is nice and hollow like a gong and not like a cheap tinny sounding toy. Very happy with this purchase for my roommate.

The gong sounds really shallow and tin like. If you need one for only visual appeal it is ok.

I was very nervous about my purchase since it had so many varying reviews, I am happy to report no issues with my purchase. I can see that perhaps due to the way it is wrapped inside the box and taped over the bubble wrap if one isn't careful the string could break, but that would be the purchaser's fault. I basically had to cut it off in many pieces plus the base is encased in Styrofoam so I busted it loose. It also came with a nice red threaded bracelet, I gave it to my son.I placed this on a shelf above the toilet next to a faux potted orchid, and it compliments the entire feel so very nicely. I will post a picture later, but I found it not to be flimsy or "cheap" looking/feeling as others had.I guess it depends on the purpose, I just wanted a small display item that won't be getting touched at all so I have no idea what the gong even sounds like...not why I wanted it. So Yes I would repurchase if I needed to , and would suggest to my friends and family.

You have to be careful with this. Wish it was build sturdier. It makes a nice sound. When you lift the striker off out the attached hook, the whole thing might fall over. The frame is small and the gong is tied on with a ribbon. Wish it had been bigger, but you get what you pay for. Overall, I am happy with what it is.
