This air board is my mini gun lol! Honestly, the action on this air board is super smooth, you get the quality build of a Hutchins for half the cost. Only difference between this and a larger Hutchins is weight. The weight of the Hutchins makes the board slightly smoother. But honeslty, I use a board to remove alot of material and then block sand. This air board is perfect for getting you close to glaze coat.

Was right in the middle of working on a car when my old CP single action sander went out! Parts to repair were going to take two or three weeks to get here. Ordered this sander from Amazon and it was on my doorstep within a week. New dual action sander works great!

Two works perfect

This sander is fine for a DIY guy like me. It has a tendency to slowly seize to nonfunctional when hot, even when well lubricated. I am guessing that the piston and body are different materials allowing heat expansion to affect operation. Frequent cool-down periods are required.

Just FYI - this tool arrived at my house in its original box unwrapped - no tape or plastic wrap securing the tool, and not inside another box. I just flipped open the lid and it fell out. Miraculously, the tool works like a charm. No issues. Plenty of power, etc.1 year update - stopped working just after 1 year. This is my 2nd Chicago Pneumatic tool (I have this sander and an air hammer), and both of them had problems. I will not buy another one of these products. I thought CP had a reputation as a good quality tool company - unfortunately my experiences tell another story.

I have had this for roughly two years now, maybe more. This is a great tool for the money. Very aggressive and cuts body filler quickly and leaves a very flat surface if you are using it properly. I switched the clamp-style pad to a 3M Hookit pad and it fit perfectly.

quieter and easier to use then my old one. I hope the clips that hold the sand paper on the board. ease up. they are real tight now and a pain to flip. can pinch a finger tip

Arrived with the plastic cover on the front broken and the bottom surface was bent most likely do to the shipper. Straighten it out myself and a sander Works Great. Slight inconvenience but I needed it that day.
