Very pleasant quaffer
Well wrapped and arrived in a timely manner. A very pleasant, full bodied wine, not as fruity as I would expect Du Pape to be, but with pleasant oaky undertones. The bottle is unnecessarily gimmicky with it faux wine cellar dust, that comes off on your fingers, and suspiciously devoid of a waiter’s dip at its base. Which usually implies it is not considered a wine popular with restaurants. Worth a quaff? Most definitely Worth its money? I think not.
