Absolutely LOVE this. I had a Misfit brand activity tracker ...
Absolutely LOVE this. I had a Misfit brand activity tracker and it was supposed to be water resistant, but I wore it in the saltwater pool at my gym ONCE and half of the lights went out and wouldn't come back on. The wristband also broke on me TWICE within 2 months before I returned it and bought this one. I've worn it at least 10 times in the pool, if not more, and have had zero problems from it. Feels much better around my wrist as well. The only complaint I had about this was that the band broke on me, but it was after a while of wear and tear.

To start, it doesn't fit in the charger. I have to rig it in with a rubber band son it will charge.Next, charging is random. Sometimes when I charge it till all the lights are lit and it will die a couple hours later. I can even let it charge over night and it dies by noon. Other times it is fines and lasts a couple days. I never know which it will be though. It is great when it works however and I love it when it does.

Not happy with this...
I had a Fitbit zip for the last 2 years. It had a battery not a charger. I had to change the battery about every 1-3 months. I have to change this thing every 2 days. Very annoying! Also. The zip showed me all of my data, steps and such, right on the screen. I can only see my data on my app. Lastly, it’s suppsed to track my sleep. It thinks I’m sleeping 9-11 hours. It thinks I’m sleeping while I’m reading a book for several hours then go to bed. I never sleep9-11 hours. Not happy with this at all. Maybe if I had started with this I wouldn’t be so disappointed. One plus, it’s thinner than the big Zip.

Broke after 4 weeks.
It worked great for about 4 weeks. I charged it today, sync done to get my data. Finished my day and would not sync. Totally dead. No lights. Would not charge. Nothing. Kind of expensive to work for only about a month. This is my second Fitbit Flex. The other lasted a year until it started to get issues. I am back to using the older one. Maybe time to try a different brand of tracker.

Much better than the Force
I started off with buying the Fitbit Force. It bothered my skin then kept falling off my wrist. I would sync the data and it did not seem accurate. I lost it on a hike and could not locate it. I bought the Flex to replace it and it is cheaper in cost and a far more superior product. The wrist band locks into place nicely. It is comfortable and I bought lime green so I could see it more easily. Syncing and watching my progress has become addicting. Tracking my sleep patterns is also addicting. I highly recommend the FLEX. It is very easy to use, comfortable, and helps me with my weight loss goal.

while the unit wrks great the band gets dirty looking even if you wash it all the time, not sure if the want you to buy new bands or just cheap material they used. otherwise the unit works great. have seen other units from other companies you don’t have to go to your phone to see how many steps you have walked it shows it on the unit,

Fun and healthy for all ages.
I got this for my 10 year old son to get him more conscious about being healthy after a lazy summer of too much junk food and video games caused him to put on a few pounds (which he has now lost). We track steps, miles, activity, exercise and sleep, but not food, water or calories. He loves it when he reaches his primary goal (steps) each day - it notifies by flashing and vibrating. It is synched to my laptop and an old phone that has no phone service, but can connect to the internet through WiFi. It is a fun way for him to see days when he is active and healthy versus being a slug on the couch - without pressure from me. He loves it! He wore it to Disneyland a few weeks back and it was fun to see that over the three days we were there he (we) walked over 75,000 steps and nearly 30 miles! If you do get this for a child under 18 you will have to "jury rig" the date of birth information when you sign up otherwise it will not let you register it. Fitbit should come out with one specifically for kids.

This ain't what it should be
It works but just barely, It won't sync properly with Fitbit. I won't update tracker software. I have a feeling it's because I didn't get it from Fitbit.
