Fit the tailgate perfectly, not the key lock - UPDATE
Purchased this in May, it broke in October, and the price has gone up 28% - very disappointedThe unit slid into the opening in the tailgate perfectly, however, I had a difficult time getting the key tumbler mechanism into the handle. By the time I got the keeper into the slot and lined up with the corresponding slot in the tumbler, it was too tight to work. I had to expand the slot for the keeper.
