Review after 75 Miles of Hiking
Below is my review after 75 miles of hiking. For context, I've owned these boots for a few months, and all of my hiking was done in the San Tan mountains of Arizona. The trails there are a mixture of hard-packed dirt, rocky sections, sand, and steep rocky inclines with loose sand and gravel (e.g. Goldmine Mountain).Grip: 5/5 At first, looking at the photos in the listing, I wasn't sure about the grip, but the boots have done well on rocky inclines as well as sections with loose sand and gravel.Ventilation/Cooling: Neutral. I hike in Arizona where temps are normally on the warmer side. I haven't really noticed a difference in this category in the different boots I have owned. No complaints.Durability: 4/5 Overall they are holding up well. I'm not concerned about stepping on jagged/spiked rocks as the boots seem to be fairly tough, and the sides and laces are solid. There is a small section where the sole is starting to separate as shown in the photo, which seems premature, but otherwise the boots have been solid.Weight: Neutral. The boots are light and durable at the same time. No complaints.Comfort: 5/5 My goal with hiking boots is to not have to think about them when hiking, whether that means being concerned about durability, or having pinch points that poke into my feet. These boots are very comfortable, and don't hurt my feet at all.Quality: 4.5/5 Other than the small separation noted above, the boots are holding up very well after hiking many rocky trails. The tread and grip are great, and the overall construction of the materials, lace holes and laces appears to be high quality with no issues so far.The bottom line is that I have full confidence in these boots, and if this same model is available when my current boots wear out, I would buy the exact same boots again.Hopefully this information is helpful to others.

Wrong width...but!
I ordered a 10 Wide but received a 10 Extra Wide. I was going to return them but after a little thinking I decided to keep them and give them a whirl. I have a tendency to blow out the little toe area on the right shoe thus the wide order. But, not with every brand or shoe, I still sometimes wear out the little toe area even with a wide so I decided to keep these Extra Wides. I added a cheap pair of cushioning insoles and since winter is coming upon us I figured with heavier socks and the insoles that these just might work out alright. I have only had them for about 3 weeks now and did a grueling hike up and down ravines for about 3 hours and have worn them casually a couple of other times, 4-5 hours at a time. My initial thoughts right now is that these will work. They are very comfortable and lighter than a coupe of other pairs of hiking boots that I own. On my first hike I did end up walking through about ankle deep of water that was in a creek and as advertised, they kept my feet dry. How long the waterproofing will last is still yet to be determined because every other waterproof boot I have owned lost its ability to keep my feet dry after a couple years. I didn't want to just jump in and give them 5 stars yet since I have only had them a few weeks but will try and update this review after this hunting/hiking season comes to an end early January. I should have worn them enough by then to give an honest updated review.

Great hiking boots.
Took them 3.5 miles in the woods uphill/downhill. Very comfortable. Size is consistent with other Skechers.

Very Comfortable!
These are for my college-bound son, so that he has a quality, waterproof pair of shoes for inclement weather. He wears a size 15 or 16 depending on brand. These were a comfortable 15. He finds them very comfortable, however after the first time he wore them he commented that they stink. He has only worn them a handful of times, but continues to say they really stink. We put some Odoreater inserts in them. That helps a bit.

Good comfortable boots, loved them 'til they leaked
When my old Rocky chukkas started leaking after years of good service I needed new boots that would keep my feet dry. I walk a couple miles a day in [usually] wet grass, shallow streams , puddles etc.Didn't want to spend a fortune on them either. These boots are exceptionally comfortable right out of the box, and after three weeks have yet to leave me with wet feet. I don't know if they'll last for years but they show no wear at all as of yet.Good boots at a very good price point !Update: 6 weeks later I am sorry to report the boots are no longer waterproof. My usual mile walk in dewy grass left me with wet feet and socks you could wring out. No apparent damage to boots which still look good and are otherwise comfortable. Great boots if you live in the desert. Very disappointed.Take two stars off.Update:Sorry to report that 6 weeks later they are no longer waterproof. My usual one mile morning walk in wet grass leaves me with wet feet and socks you can wring out. No apparent damage to boots, they still look good and are comfortable, just wet. Very disappointed. I guess they're still 5 star if you live
