Pull date is Dec. 2026
Best Sardines ever. More than what is in the little cans. Just better quality. Got about 10 bent cans...but that is the delivery peoples fault I think. I will just eat them first. The use by date is only till Dec. 2026. Which some others have a 5 years use by date, telling me these have been stored for awhile.

Damaged
One box was damaged and every can damaged, thus making the cans are very difficult to open. The other box was not damaged but half of the cans were. The sardines inside the cans are mushed and in pieces, not at all whole as shown on the picture. Not happy at all with this purchase.

Doggie Omega 3's
We are using these for dog snacks. We have two Australian Shepherds that are approx 50lbs (11 and 6 mo) eating a raw diet. They haven't complained yet. These cans are the most economical option I've found on Amazon for my needs. I sometimes split one can between both dogs, other times one can each, depending on their hunger level. I top them with a serving of SeaMeal Discontinued By Manufacturer: Solid Gold SeaMeal Supplement for Dogs & Cats, 8oz.I believe the current version is this one: Solid Gold SeaMeal Kelp-Based Powder for Skin & Coat, Digestive & Immune Health in Dogs & Cats; Natural, Holistic Grain-Free Supplement; 1 lb When sharing a can it works out to about three servings a week to make the case last a month. Convenient! There are, on average, five large sardines in each can. I prefer this to fish oil capsules. I like the case size being shipped in a flip open carton. Some of the can tops have been dusty even in the carton but it doesn't bother me personally. I quickly rinse and/or wipe it off. Again, my dogs haven't complained or refused their snack.

Great Sardines for the Price
Perfect for heating up and having a sardine soup, adding to other soups, or eating out of the can. These appear to be pilchard sardines. The flavor is very nice and they don't taste like a cheap sardine. They are on the soft side, which doesn't bother me. These people giving these to their pets should eat more like their pets! I get this at the grocery store buying liver, too "oh, I feed that to my dog." Some people don't know what they're missing out on!

Damaged cans
These are good quality Sardines but the shipment I received had several damaged cans. Some of them I used but three of them are damaged so bad that I am afraid to use for fear of botulism/food poisoning. I buy a lot of Sardines and was very happy with the price, taste etc. Just need them to arrive in good condition.

Healthiest food you can give cats!!!!!!
If you've seen Dr. Karen Becker's list of Best-to-Worst foods for cats, you know that wild sardines are right at the top (although if you could catch them yourself, instead of buying them canned, that would be even better).Sardines (and wild Alaskan Salmon) are the best, because they are very high in Omega 3s and very low in mercury, while also being excellent sources of protein, calcium, and other nutrients. Also, it's important to get them packed in water, since some of the things sardines are packed in can cause digestive issues for cats. These sardines are certified sustainable, which is also very important, with the crisis of depleted fishstocks in various parts of the world.I feed (with others) 40 homeless cats, and my own half dozen cats, these sardines daily...they love them!
