Fermometer HOZQ8-717 4 X Adhesive Strip Thermometer

Easy to read, attaches easily to clean surface, and shipping / order response was fantastic. We used these on steel drums to monitor temperatures of containers with ether solution to ensure they were cold enough to safely open - low vapor pressure. They performed well and were easy to read. Price is about expected. Don't be thrown by markings for different kinds of beer production temperature ranges as that does not detract from utility. This product greatly enhanced safety in use of diethyl ether in steel drums allowing greater surety before opening or transferring into a container

It works perfectly well - I have cross checked the temperature multiple times during various times of the day with my wall thermostat and this fermometer. It is always within 1 degree of the thermostat. It was easy to stick on the curved surface of a carboy. I just wish it showed temperature lower than 44 and higher than 80. It caps out below and above that range.

Strips work well and are helpful in establishing fermenting temperature. The stickiness of the item does not seem to stand up well to repeated water exposure. I have sealed the tape with several layers of packing tape which seems to work well with and may produce the added effect of insulating the strip so that its temperature reflects more accurately the fermentation temperature, minimizing the influence of outside temperature.

I’ve had good luck with 2 separate orders of these strips. They are easy to read and accurate for water kefir and kombucha making. They can be reused 3-4 times before the adhesive stops working well. These are worth the extra money vs. cheaper strips that require a flashlight to read and then break apart when removed.

Fantastic thermometer for use in my wine and kombucha making. Readings are bright and easy to read. Very accurate and stays put once you stick it to glass. Love these and would buy them again.

Just have to laugh at the poor ratings due to people buying them for fever monitoring. Please don’t down rate a product because you didn’t read the description or look at the pictures.

These strips work as any thermometer should but, they don't seem to be sticky enough. I tried to put on on my little big mouth bubbler and one on a regular gallon carboy. Both fell off before fermentation was complete.

I use these all over the man cave to monitor temperature. I have them on my brewing water reservoirs, fermentation containers, window wall framing and even earth-insulated galvanized wall arches. They are easy to apply to both curved and flat surfaces and easy to read even except in the dimmest light.
