Q: Does this tub come with any shower hoses, straps, or the exteneded drain hose? Thanks!

It comes with extended drain hose. You'll have to purchase a shower attachment from pet supermarket for about $25.It doesn't come with straps but you can use a nylon loop leash & keep it tied to the strap ring. This tub makes bathing my dogs SO much easier! It's not as big as I thought it would be but it fits my 20lb minpin perfectly.

Q: how wide apart are the legs and will this fit into an average size bathtub?

Measuring from the outside of the legs, the width is 13 1/2" the length is 21". This would easily fit into a medium size tub. We keep it outside the tub, right next to it as the drainage hose is long enough to extend into the bathtub. We use the extended spray attachment on the shower to wash/rinse the dog. This is a very comfortable height and saves a lot of stress on your knees and back. Our largest dog is 65 lb.

How about visiting your local hardware store? Take the tub with you so they can give you the right hose size and connections. It might cost five bucks tops, and you'd have it immediately.
