First off, a warning: do not do what I did! Make sure the wand is turned to the off setting before turning on the water. I neglected to do this, and sent a very powerful spray of water across my bathroom into the wall, window, curtains, and my new roll of tp. On the plus side, I was deeply impressed that the water pressure on this sucker is that strong, to shoot across an entire room and soak half the bathroom in a matter of seconds it took until my panicked husband and I could figure out how to turn it off!I groom dogs regularly out of my home, and needed something with good, strong spray power. This is it. On a big dog, with lots of coat, a few passes penetrates that coat and soaks the dog quickly. On a small dog or a dog with a short or thin coat, one slow pass will do the entire first soak. It’s amazing. It washes out dirt, plant life, and whatever other greasy grimies the dogs might have in their coats and gets them quickly prepped for shampooing. Once shampooed, it efficiently removes the shampoo and conditioner with ease and minimal scrubbing and hand squeegee work needed with other rinse tools I’ve used.It’s an easy install, it sprays powerfully, really my only complaint is that off is not really off- as stated in many other reviews. I actually almost didn’t buy this because of that issue, but in retrospect I’m glad I did. Yes, it’s a little annoying, but the flow on the off setting is light enough that it doesn’t cause undue mess as long as you keep it in the tub or a bucket. It’s certainly something the manufacturer should consider fixing eventually, but for my purposes, it’s an acceptable flaw.All in all a great little tool for bathing dogs. Cuts wash time in half. The dogs like it as much as they’re going to, and it does the job.

So easy to hook up. I haven't hooked to my shower head. The water pressure is great and I like that there are different settings. It got my dog nice and clean right down to the skin. Also, my boyfriend is disabled and he uses it because it's easier for him to reach. Great purchase!

This shower attachment comes with everything you need to attach it to your existing shower head extension. I switch it out since I don't overbathe our dog and it is so easy. They supply a connection that you can share with your own shower head if you choose. As far as the spray head itself, the settings allow you to change the flow for the face and body. It is very time saving to wet the thick coat of a Pekingese, and then rinse after shampooing and conditioning. Until I had this product it took much longer for me to feel I had rinsed the coat thoroughly enough. Our dog enjoyed this spray head the very first time I used it. Both the dog and I prefer him on an elevating stand in the tub with warm water than outside with a hose or trying to rinse with a cup. I am so happy we got this to make bath time more comfortable and effective.

I have two Golden Retrievers, one has a 'normal' Golden coat, and the other has a super dense undercoat all over, and her fanny resembles sheep's wool. I didn't think this WaterPic would work on her, and I was right, but I thought it may work for the other Golden. There's zero way this has enough pressure to penetrate her thick coat anywhere on her body (I didn't expect it to work on her fanny, so I'm not judging it based on that), and it wasn't worth the effort on the Golden with the 'normal' coat either. It just doesn't have sufficient pressure to penetrate these double coats. I used it with the garden hose attachment (which is a great feature) and I do have excellent water pressure, so that isn't the issue at all.I don't see how the reviewers with double coat breeds have had success with this, but good for them if it works.For short hair/'single' coat breeds, I think this is a great device and I would recommend it. The hose is a nice length, it's easy to use and adjust, and you can shut it off fairly easily while you get them scrubbed up. (You could also use this as an outside "shower" for yourself to rinse off or even bathe while camping, etc. It would be great for that use as well, imo).It just didn't work at all for my Goldens, and I can't recommend it for any breed with a dense coat.

As a family with two very furry double coated dogs on a ranch(they love in the house) this things is amazing!!!! I was using a cup to scoop water on to the dogs, which was kinda okay with just my little Aussie, who has the thickest coat ever, but stays pretty clean. My boarder Collie puppy was another story. With this spring weather (and me having pneumonia and her out back left to her own devices) she was covered in mud dingle berries on her whole underside. This magic wand was able to do a half spray and with the thin curved wand was able to easily spray under her and get her arm pits and belly. I appreciate that the water pressure was enough to be effective while still being gentle on puppy skin.I installed this in just a few minutes with no leaks, or really looking at the directions. I wish it came with plumbers tape, but I had some. I also like that it has two hooks, one on the adapter to the shower head and another you can put on the wall. I think I will add that one where it's easy to reach when I need to set the and down to scrub dogs. I also like that you can adjust to a trickle when not in use. It also made cleaning the the tub out after way easier.After bathing both dogs I'm very satisfied with my purchase and I am totally positive I never would have gotten the border Collie clean without this magic wand. I would buy this again!Will update if a failure occurs.
