One of, if not, my most expensive purchase. But was this insane purchase of the limited Target exclusive DC Multiverse Crime Syndicate Starro Build-A-Figure Wave Owlman worth the hefty cost of ~$116?Well, if you're a lunatic collector like me... yeah, kinda. I understood what I would be facing when I set out to collect the Crime Syndicate and proceeded to charge forward with it anyways. However, if you're a parent/guardian/whatever else just trying to find this character for your child or something, I'd recommend the other, cheaper, version of this character.Ignoring the gaping hole in my wallet, let's about the figure itself. What do I think? I think this figure's pretty cool. I kinda prefer the Forever Evil version of the Owlman costume, but this still holds up very nicely. Nice detail. Good articulation. The typical stuff. And I only truly noticed that the little baby Starros included witch each character from the wave are actually different! Only slightly, but still different. As for the big Starro, there actually is a specific way to assemble the arms, in case you didn't notice, assemble from behind and aline with the matching ridges. (Images have been provided for assistance too)My only complaint, other than price because that's with reason, is the manufacturing for this specific figure. This is by no means anyone's fault. I simply got a bad one. Just few hiccups with the paint job, common issue, no biggie. The bigger issue is this hole in the cape. (Images provided of both)But I can still look past these things because, overall, I'm glad to have managed to find and snag this one. High price and manufacturing erros and all.
