Awfull.
I'm a positive guy but this stuff was awful. Took 1 sip and dumped the entire bottle down the drain. Really should get a zero, or lower. Grossly overpriced for awful tasting liquid. Cool bottle, though.

This stuff really tastes delicious
This stuff tastes great. I'm not a drinker so I can't tell you if it tastes like actual rye whiskey. All I can tell you is that it tastes really good and smells good. It's a fabulous drink. I have purchased and tried a lot of non-alcoholic whiskeys and other non-alcoholic beverages. This one is way up there in terms of taste, color, etc. All of these type products are expensive and so I always worry about whether it is worth the money or not. I took a chance on this one and was not disappointed at all.

Bears no resemblance to any bourbon I've ever tasted.
This is probably the second nastiest liquid I have ever put in my mouth!! After two tries, one straight with ice and the other mixed, I poured the rest of the new bottle in the sink. By accident, I got a few drops on my fingers, washed my hands but could still smell the foul oder for some time. Waste of money!

So, the flavor's not like bourbon...
... and yes, it takes some time to acquire the taste. But I've been able to approach it from the position of trying a new, unique product. There's a complex profile in this bottle, some notes collide with others. I'd suggest tasting a very small amount (just a dash) to get an idea.Try it over ice, with water or seltzer. Maybe a bit of simple syrup. I use orange bitters, and think that it helps with the flavor. This is an opportunity to experiment.

Tastes like stale old bourbon
I'm taking the step towards a new sober curious life style. I was excited to try something different than NA beers when I realized NA spirits existed. My normal drink was a whiskey diet and not typically very picky about my whiskey. This however tasted like I poured a bourbon on the rocks and forgot it on the deck in the sun for the month of August. Tasted watered down without much flavor.

Tasty and Crisp - Quality Bourbon flavored non-alcoholic beverage
We no longer drink alcohol, but occasionally I really miss a glass of good bourbon over rocks. TBH I was a little skeptical on how this would measure up... and I was very pleasantly surprised. First of all - the bottle looks amazing and feels quite heavy and substantial. Premium for sure (I do product photography, so I snapped a good looking image of the bottle in my studio...) Initial flavor on the first sip is terrific, and the finish is delicious as well, without the burn that you would expect from the alcohol, obviously.. The lingering echo of flavor has hint of wood as well. The color is a little bit lighter than I would have expected. In every way this was a solid purchase.

Tasted like rancid, spoiled soy-sauce.
Tasted like rancid, spoiled soy sauce. I don't know if it was supposed to taste like it does or if it spoiled before it was delivered, but I tried it in a few drinks, and they all tasted awful. I looked to get my money back, but Amazon does not do returns on perishable items—so I am out $28.00. I will be dumping this down the drain.

Doesnt taste like bourbon straight but mixes well
If you want sipping whiskey, move along. This has far too much oak and smoke. However, if you add 1 shot of jack to the bottle the flavor rounds out. It also goes well with coke and an old fashioned by itself. It does not have any resemblance to whiskey by itself but the flavor isn't terrible.
