Sarah Bernhardt Garden Peony - Pink Paeonia (3 Roots)

These peonies are gorgeous!!! I bought them several years ago, and this is how they’ve aged and grown. This is their 3rd bloom and the neighbors are always in awe of them. Pics are this bloom, 2023. These bloom earlier than other peonies in the neighborhood, AND ARE SOOOO MUCH BIGGER, so they get a lot of attention.And FYI- the actual flower is bigger than my son’s head. He’s 2.5yr old, if that helps.Very easy to grow. Highly recommend. I’ll be buying more of these!

TerribleNever sprouted

The roots arrived healthy. With a couple of days with in a dish with a wet paper towel, they are beginning to sprout and are ready to transplant. Will buy again.

50% of the root balls, planted adjacent to each other (same soil, moisture, sunlight, depth, etc.) failed to yield growth.Avoid~

Ordered Sarah Bernhardt bare roots. The good thing is all three roots are alive. However, their leaves look different, they are definitely not the same variety. They will bloom in year three, so don’t know the color yet. I don’t like surprises when it comes to flowers.

Planted them not doing so well! I was hoping I could put them on my mom grave.

I received my peony roots near the end of last week and put them in the soil a couple of days later. The plant heads peeked out in a couple of days and four days later they were 5-6 inches tall. What a marvelous grower. If it's growth continues like this it will have foliage by early April. A great buy that I probably will buy again.

Very pretty, grew and filled in better than the expensive ones I ordered from a specialty retailer. We have even moved than from one location to a new spot and they did great. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is that the flowers look somewhat different than the pictures shown when I bought them. But they’re absolutely stunning so I’m still happy.
