A small phillips (ph.0) screwdriver is all that is needed. You will also need to keep track of the screw caps that hide the screws on the bottom of the laptop - just pry these out with small pointed tool (small slot screwdriver, pointed nail file, whatever). Be advised that the new battery does not come with screws and the factory battery should have keepers (little plastic rings) that keep the screws from falling free of the battery. It's easy to remove these and use them on the new battery, just be careful not to lose them.

Where are the actual charge / discharge instructions? Also the images included say 1000 cycles. The details however say 500?

BatteryMon battery does not include mounting screws, returned my battery. If details say 500 cycles, expect that at most, but one reviewer states battery lasted inly 8 months, so, so much for details. There are no charge/discharge instructions; you just get the battery.
