Has anyone’s dog snapped this leash?

Within a month. I bought the one rated for up to 110lbs. My 70lb lab saw a feral cat and attempted to chase it. Leash was already about 80% extended and before I could even react, she ran out the remaining length. When the end of the lead arrived, the entire reel mechanism inside snapped and was jerked halfway out of the handle. Gave me enough time to grab the lead with my other hand and corral my dog, but the handle proceeded to just fall apart in my hand, completely ruined. I was less than thrilled when the product arrived, as it felt much less substantial/tough than my prior leash from Flexi that had lasted for 5+ years that I had bought at Petsmart (and only had to replace because we lost it). Disappointed. Went back to a Flexi, it's been great.

why the blue and the white and orange one has a 2-year protection plan but not the white one What's the different?
