I recently purchased the VideoSecu ML405B2 Ceiling Mounts for my restaurant's digital menu boards, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. Worked as expected. Sturdy and durable.

I wanted to watch TV in my garage while I work on projects and didn’t think a full motion would work because most of the wall space was used. I decided to hang my 32” from a joist. This mount was perfect. Easy to assemble and mount. I connected a hi def antenna and also a DVD player. Wires are secured behind the pole. Very pleased with the cost and quality of this mount. Perfect for VESA 100 TVs.

I got one, then ordered another 2!They are perfect for attaching to floor joists to hang your t.v. monitor from. I have it hooked up in front of an elliptical machine that I can watch youtube videos of running through France, Thailand or the world! I also have another in front of a rowing machine for the same and another where I can watch my favorite, Mountaindog, while I am lifting for some great tips and inspiration. The mount can rotate 360 and tilt slightly. The pole is length adjustable as well. Just make sure the mounting hardware configuration fits your tv,I installed 40" screens. They are easy to install and assemble if you have a drill/screwgun and are comfortable with that type of install. If you aren't, someone you know probably is! At under 30$ ea. A good deal.

Purpose:This item was purchased for my Home Gym to mount a 22" Dynex.Pros:-Easy installation-Plenty of adjustments for various viewing pleasures-Bolt to tighten for left to right positioning still allows TV to be repositioned with out the need of loosening/re-tightening the boltCons:-Stem of mount was not square even though the ceiling was-Stem has some left to right play when using controls on TV or inserting/removing a DVD-Bolt to tighten for up and down positioning is difficult to accessConclusion:Over all this unit is perfect for my situation and still worth the $29.99 but would have been disappointing if I had paid more for it. Since I put this in the gym I didn't have a need for an elaborate and expensive unit. And even though the stem was not square I fixed this by loosening the bolts holding the mount to the ceiling and placing enough cardboard strips to act as a spacer under the appropriate side of the bracket. After re-tightening the bolts the mount became perfectly square. I would have preferred not to do this but it fixed the problem and didn't affect the mechanics of the mount. In addition the bolt cover hides the cardboard. This will be different in everyone's situation being that your ceiling may not be square and the manufacturer of this mount may not have this issue with all their units. All I can suggest is if you have a similar problem be creative, keep it simple and make it work.

As mentioned in other reviews there is a little wobble in the adjustable drop bars but that is not really a problem. Closer tolerances would raise the price. The bars can be cut down if you need a shorter drop. Once mounted the TVs could be easily adjusted to maximize the viewing angle. The mount kits fit the Vizio TVs perfectly. They come with plastic inserts for installation in sheetrock. I would advise against this unless you were mounting a very small and light set. Try to hit a ceiling joist with at least 3 of the screws. Better yet install a 2x4 or 2x6 between the joists. You will have more angle options for the base of the mount. You will also get an extremely sturdy mount. If you do install it into wood and not sheetrock, pre-drill your holes with a drill bit a couple of sizes smaller than the screws. The screw heads provided strip out easily if you try to screw them into wood without a pilot hole. I found this out the hard way.

Quality made product with many spacers and bolts to mount many different monitors or TV's. I used it for a 17.3 inch monitor ant it came with the M4 screws I needed to mount it on the 75 x 75 mm VESA mount. Good product!
