i want to fit in a 2019 fiat Ducato do I need isolated or non isolated?

do i need a smart altenator for this to work or do i just need to connect it to the positive of my battery and the negative to the body or buzz bar?

Normal Alternator and connect to positive of battery abs a suitable Earth point 👍

Would I need a 30amp fuse/ breaker from the vehicle pos battey to this device to protect it?
