The inserts are not hard and waxy like other brands, instead they are sticky and gelatinous. With this in mind, the applicator can't push it through and it stays stuck in the applicator. Nor can you insert it manually because it's too giggley. This makes it impossible to use and I had to throw it away. That's too bad because I think it would make an effective therapy.

First time user. Product seems to do its job well, only downside is that it leaks a lot. It does state to wear at night (bed time) and quickly lay down, I would also add to wear a pad at night. Not a panty liner, a pad. I wore a panty liner the first night and my pj bottoms were wet. I am also taking it with the Boiron Candida Albicans. Overall great product.
