Does it work against cigarettes and other things one might smoke?

We're non smokers but had a 3month old 3 piece suite of my mum/dad, who smoke..As soon as it was in our front room all I could smell was old smoke, so placed three of these in the room, not showing on the floor near the suite.. And it worked a treat, 4/5 days later when coming down in the morning, I couldn't smell old smoke smell at all...!! Good luck

Well it definitely clears that musty damp smell from a much larger area...I'd give it a go.

Do they need to remain upright? Need to chuck under a crawl space and likely to fall on its side.

Doesn't NEED to remain upright as it is a solid ball with a "jelly-like" look/feel to the actual product. NB: It NEEDS the top (OR "side with the peel off label") to be open, i.e. IF you throw it into crawl space and the item lands upside-down (or on side where you have peeled off the label) it will NOT work!

Does it work for toilets?

I use the spray and the pod. My toilets always smells fresh
