Nice leather tooling kit.
My grandson loves his leather tooling kit! He’s making some beautiful leather knife cases and belts.

I have good news and bad news......
Overall its a good kit. It comes in a box, some assembly is required for all of the contents come individually wrapped. The product comes with a content booklet briefly explains the tools this company has to offer. The booklet itself is not exclusive to this one product. It's like one booklet that rules them all. If your thinking I am missing a nylon/ rubber hammer or a needle threader or another tool that is listed in this booklet. You will slowly realize hey there is no room anyways. So that is the good news. The bad news is I don't know who designed the case but it looks like the buckles were placed on the bottom. The leather of the case is very thin and the buckle straps are even thinner. The weight of the case is being held together with single stitching and flimsy leather straps that keep 8.69 ( feels like more) pounds of hand tools from doing a gravity dump on the floor. Next time put the buckle configuration on the top by the handle. You'll see when you get it. The good news is. Its an easy fix. Your first leather project is creating a " H " leather buckle harness with carry handle using a 4oz pieces of leather instead of the 1/2 oz that the case is made from to evenly distribute the weight of the leather brief case configuration OR just take one 3.5 ft by 3.5 ft piece of leather and wrap it up like a Christmas present. Throw on a couple of bungee cords and whaaalaaaa... Nobody's perfect. Overall its a good kit Oh and the kit comes with this little, very little utility knife. Replace it with a Dewalt Utility Knife Single blade snap off 25mm... You can thank me later. Less cramping in your fingers. End of lecture.

No good for the amount of money
Swivel knife blade had Knicks on the end. Tools started to tarnish within two weeks. Kit came with some leather remnants but no instructions what you could do with that kind of leather. For the money I was very disappointed.

A good beginner set of leather tools great value
The set I would say is a generous mix of tools, some really good quality and others pieces poorly made. My favorite is the knife. Solid quality, no doubt. The little alligator clips are the other extreme. Cheap plastic junk! The leather case is a nice gesture, but for me personally, not needed. Others may find value in this. The awls are a bit disappointing, I should say two especially, look like they would fall apart if I stared at them too long.On a whole not bad starter set for anyone looking to explore leather crafting as I am. It’s a fair price. They have given you enough pieces to truly whet your appetite to really start exploring. The threads, cutting mats and pounding plate all made for really good value. Highly recommend.

Good value for a leather tool set
A good collection of leather tools, if each item was bought separately it would be a lot more than this. Honestly I have not used everything in the kit, but it has everything I need. Good value for the money
