Andis 33495 1600-Watt Wall Mounted HangUp Hair Dryer with Night Light, White

Over the last 20 years I have owned three of these Andis Hang Up 1600 (#33495, HD-7) direct wire hair dryers. After 10 years the first dryer was left at the home I sold. After 10 more years at my next home I dropped and broke the second dryer. This hair dryer connects directly into the electrical wires in a wall, meaning it does not plug into an electrical outlet and therefore cannot be unplugged for travel. This means my electrical outlets are freed up for other appliances and the hair dryer is hanging on my wall which leaves more open countertop space. I love this hair dryer and would buy this exact model again if I make a boneheaded move and break my third/current one. I cannot imagine not having the convenience of this wall hanging dryer in my bathroom.

This hairdryer was overall pretty good. I have definitely used better hair dryers but for the price it is hard to complain. It does its job, however it is not not portable since it is supposed to be mounted on your wall. I would still recommend it however if youre looking for a new hair dryer

Really nice product but it is made to be hardwired into a j box. Iwired a plug-in for it and I'm plugging it into a ground fault socket. The unit actually includes its home ground fault system for safety. It seems to have a high and low but no 0 heat mode.

Nice and compact wall mounted unit. Not for travel use. Biggest drawback is the noisy fan and air flow. Only for mounting over existing electrical box in/on a wall.

I bought this because of the price, knowing that I would need to buy a $2 plug. I gave it a 3 because the mounting bracket is difficult to use and the design does not allow the blower cord to recess. It does mount securely though and the dryer itself is fine. So it is a good buy if you don't mind those problems.

Great direct wire hair dryer! I purchased this model 13 years ago, and just started to have a bit of trouble with it. I'd say 13 years is pretty darn good! I was very please to find that they still make the same exact model, with a brighter night lite. This was important, as the shape and dimensions of the wall base were exactly the same, so no paint touchup needed! I highly recommend this dryer! Don't forget, this is the direct wire model that hard wires to an electric wall box. There is a standard plug in model available too.

It’s light weight, great power not made to travel, I wasn’t aware that I had to put the plug in on myself. Great dryer though

Product has to be wired into a electrical source to operate. Very, very inconvenient. Only option is to go buy a electric plug and wire the plug on so it can be plugged into an outlet. Great dryer, perfect size but needs to at least have a plug in the box for the plug in option. Would not have bought if I had known the inconvenience it caused
