It works great and alot cheaper than OEM thermostat.
This product is great and was easy to install. The only problem was the suction cups would not hold I used velcro and it stays out of the way. It is alot cheaper than OEM thermostat.

Works great
Used to convert an old fridge freezer to an upright deep freeze. Works great! (Also had to adjust airflow, and swap the defrost timer, FYI)

Cold control
Very easy install. I have two older upright freezers and could not find a good replacement. These are great. Ad says temporary but they are great for permanent

Differential Out of Tolerance
The cut-in and cut-out differential is supposed to be 7 degrees but mine is 13 degrees 6 degrees beyond manufacturer’s specifications. It makes for long off cycles which isn’t a problem and it cycles on and off very good. I used mine as a permanent replacement I like the fact it can be used on a freezer or refrigerator. If it was within tolerance of the rated differential everything would be good and I’d give it a 5 star rating.Update 19 March 2023After nearly a year of use the differential has settled down to 10 degrees. Overall a good thermostat.

An exact replacement cold control for my freezer is no longer available. Does the manufacturer really expect me to replace the entire unit because an inexpensive part went bad? This "temporary" control is now permanently installed in my freezer. It's been working perfectly for over a year. Highly recommended for anyone where an original or aftermarket exact fit part is not available.

34 year old refridgerator still lives
I have a 34 year old Hotpoint fridge and its cold control went bad something like 10 years ago. I got one of these back then and it was out of calibration. I calibrated it using ice water, and it lasted until recently. This new one is just fine. In the warmest setting the cut out is something like 28 - 30 degrees and the cut in is around 38 degrees depending on the accuracy of the cheap digital thermometer I have in the fridge. All food and drinks are good and cold and nothing is frozen. It does what it is supposed to do...
