It is what it is.
First off, it is what you pay for... A 13 dollar piece of razor shaped steel. Make no mistake it is top quality steel just poorly ground. You need to take the time and learn how to hone it. If you aren't willing to do that then spend 200 dollars and buy a shave ready Dovo. A little elbow grease is worth saving that much money to me.Second... I've spent the better part of a week handling this thing on top of repeated immersions in water and no rust. Just wipe it dry and don't leave it sitting in a pool of water.Shaves great!

Blade is good, handle is weak.
When I got this product the blade was strong and pretty much shave ready. However, the handle seems a little weak for the weight of the blade, so if you are not careful the handle may crack. Also, I did not receive the plastic holder that the seller had promised.

Love it!
I hated shaving before I started using straight razors. I still don't care for it much, but using this little guy makes the baldface experience so much more bareable. I've had it so long now I've forgotten if i had to strop it. It was, however, sharpened already; I know I didn't use my stone before using it.This isn't an heirloom piece by any means; it's no work of art. That said, I have had mine for a couple of years and it has held up well. It is a great first blade in my opinion.

If there were a way to rate 0 stars, I would.
This razor is absolutely worthless the way it is shipped. Truly, it's what your mother always taught you, a dull knife is much more dangerous than a sharp one. On top of everything else, they ship from china so took the better part of a month to get the razor. I suppose what do you expect though when the product only costs ten dollars. Truly wish I had saved myself the money and put it towards a good quality straight razor.

Gotta have the skill of sharpening for this one
Works great as long as you know how to sharpen and strop it. For the price its great and does the job with out a problem. If you have no experience sharpening knives or razors then this isn't for you. It doesn't come shave ready but sharpening it to shave ready condition only takes about 10 minutes if you know what you're doing.

Sharp knife, dull razor
Not at all shave-ready, but maybe with proper honing and stopping I can scrape my skin.

Ugh!
Absolutely horrible. I opened the package to find that the plastic scales were already cracked. It didn't make it through the first shave without it completely falling apart. I'm going to keep the blade and am making my own wood scales to try to salvage.

This is a very dull razor and I can stand there for hours trying to sharpen it and it just won't... Very disappointed.
