great starter truck
I bought this truck for my son's 6th birthday. I have never had an RC truck. I wanted something better than the toys r us garbage. read some reviews on this truck and they were positive. Got the truck and it looked awesome. The instructions and the website are worthless though, I mean, they are 1 star lousy, but the truck itself rocks. It is more durable than I thought and goes through 6 inch grass like nothing. it can be adjusted to go faster or slower for biginner users or younger kids, that is an exceptional feature that is worth the price. It only has a 20 minute battery life so buy an extra or two, charging takes about 4 hours. Don't spend $60 to $100 on a low grade piece of crap, spend the extra and buy this truck. The difference is well worth it. I might buy another one for myself it is so fun to use. My son has hit many bushes and trees while learning and it has not broke yet. If it does, parts seem readily available so I am not worried. everything looks to be replaceable. I would recommend this truck to anyone not wanting to spend $200 to $600 on a traxxas.

Could not pass up a $97 buy
The price adds a star to the rating, you are limited on gear options and there is durability issues.Ok, you definitely will get what you paid for, and for $97, its worth it. Getting the red color for almost $30 cheaper than any of the other 20+ colors is a deal. After being able to tweak a friends Exceed Dynamite for the last 2/3 weeks, I took the plunge and purchased this thing (Infinitive). I am very familiar with the binding of the dogbones and what not so I did do a little grinding here and there, just need to bash this thing with the mind set of "yeah, dogbones can go flying if i do this/or that" etc.So it arrived today, and its definitely an upgrade from the Dynamite. Waterproof speed control, waterproof servo and a waterproof receiver (4 channels!). Metal spur gear and metal pinion, 64/17 (not plastic or brass). Tires are better than the "Super Swamper Bogger" look-a-likes as shown in the display pics. They're actually better quality, softer, and better dirt pattern. The motor was also a surprise, its not the 540 can as advertised, but a 550 can, probably 27 or so turns, shocks actually work out of the box(compression and rebound, probably they put some real heavy oil, or changed the valves). The dogbone width is the same from one end to the other, not skinnier towards the ends like the past versions. The hub carriers are still plastic, so they should be breaking soon.Mods- Didn't run the truck with the stock stuff but went strait to installing upgrades. Pro-line Stampede body (Chevrolet 2500HD), Castle Mamba Max Pro/1406-4600, Savox 0252MG servo, Venom 9.6v/5000mah, parts were already waiting to go in.First run- So far ran it about 20 min on a paved road (covered in dirt, super slippery), nothing major, just some stupid fast speed runs ( about 50mph to be fair, flips and cartwheels), crazy donuts and fish tails. Hit rough dirt a little but did not want parts to go flying so took it easy there. Will update as we progress, will do a tear down to see the wear points and figure out how to keep it in one piece before going full bash status. I already know we wont be doing any big jumps just yet.Current thoughts- Well worth it, if your actually a hobby'st and wont complain every step of the way, then go for it. If you just want a bolt on, everything needs to fit, nothing should ever break user, then go with the mainstream companies (more durable and many parts available) or toy grade.

Not great Documentation
The instructions are dick. All they talk about is how dangerous it is to charge the 1800MaH battery. Not indoors not overcharge, not deplete the battery etc. It doesn't even say how long to charge the battery for. The car goesis very slow going in reverse backward very underpowered. For this price I expected more...

Depenble Durable RC Truck
I did allot of research before purchasing this truck and I am glad I did. This Truck has been battered and beat on and is still performing well. Like the other guy said well worth the money if you are looking for a dependable and durable RC truck that will perform on any terrain, I live in the desert on a dirt road with a dirt yard all around just dirt everywhere. I have jumped it over ramps banged it into trees and concrete at full speed and other then bending the front axle (dogbone) and scuffing up the body it still runs great. I did upgrade the battery to 3000mah. These days you seldom get a good product for a fair price you do with this product. I write seldom reviews I felt this product deserved some of my time. Awesome RC Truck

Car works great! My son loves it
Car works great! My son loves it. Goes about 20 mph which is pretty fast out of box. Only down side is battery will only last about 15 minutes and then takes 4 hours to charge. Looking now to upgrade battery and charger. Will also be upgrading to brush less in future. Car was fast at first, but now we want more speed.

Save your money and upgrade to a better model!
This car was hopefully going to be a long time toy for my 12 year old. Instead after under an hour of driving the screws on one of the front wheel axles stripped out completely rendering the car useless unless we purchase new parts. Very frustrating.
