Huffy Kid Bike Quick Connect Assembly Glimmer 18 inch, Red

I expected this HUFFY bike to be more sturdy. While the frame is steel and sturdy, the wheels are not. I also noticed balance is off. Bike sways right to left a little, not sure if this is expected due to training wheels. I wish training wheels would provide more stability. My 7 yr old niece felt very insecure while riding. I had to assure her she would not fall sideways due to Bike unsteadiness. May invest on better training wheels.

Update- Three days after reaching out to Huffy Customer Support they responded. They gave me two sentences of instructions on how to install the handlebar. They did offer to send me a replacement inner tube. But by this time I had already got one and installed it. I responded to their email by expressing my concern over the handlebar not fitting securely and presenting a safety hazard. We are returning the bike.Original ReviewI bought this bike because it claims to be a quick assemble - snap on the handlebar and clip in the seat. Easy enough. I wish.The user manual included with the bike was for another model, so that was not helpful at all.The bike came and the first issue was that the back tire inner tube had a huge gash in it, so it needed to be replaced. "Easy enough," I thought. Not great, but OK they let this slip through quality control.On to the handlebars. I could not get them to snap on and had to get my husband to use all his strength to force it on and clip in place. Once on we realized how loose the handlebars are and very unsafe. The cheap plastic used to tighten the handlebar is worthless. After 3 seconds of riding it is loose.I reached out to Huffy about getting a replacement inner tube (feels wrong to have to buy new parts for a new bike) and about the handlebar. That was 2 days ago and I have yet to receive a response.Huffy used to be a name I trusted and one that meant quality. After this I would not be likely to buy another of their products.

Easy to put together! Perfect for granddaughter.

For starters the bike said it was an easy connect it was anything but still to this day have not been able to get it all the way together missing pieces the bike falls apart as soon as you think you have it all together very poorly made... Wobbles all over the place worst bike I have ever seen or bought in my life. Would have never gave them a star at all but in order to move forward you have to give at least one star but it is not even worth that

I was hoping for a better product considering the cost of this for a childs bike. The bike itself is so cute and my daughter loved how red and shiny it is. However, the handlebars would NOT tighten. They were very wobbly and would loosen more just after a few mins of riding. So after my daughter opened the bike for her birthday and rode it a bit, we had to disassemble and return because of the poor quality. After reading several reviews we noticed the handlebar issue was a common trend which prompted us to return rather than replace.

Updated review: DO NOT BUY! Flimsily and not worth it...too wobblyWhen I first tried to assemble the bike when I picked it up the handle bars came off. After that I used more force to put them on and now they are sturdy - BUT the handle bars don't seem to have a way to tighten. I love that the training wheels can clip on and off. My daughter has been using the bike for a like a week and no real problems.
