Don’t cheap out on the Rothco brand harness. This one is the genuine article. This harness has better padding in the shoulders and the adjustable straps won’t loosen when you run or whatever.

This will do what I wanted it to do but it's definitely used. The clips are a little rusted and there is some sort of red stain on the straps. I'm leaning towards that it is blood but can't be sure. Everything feels strong and not like it's going to break from dry rot. The shoulder pads are comfortable.

Used it this past weekend hiking and love it. Very rugged light and no hassle. Very satisfied with it and alot of use from this year.

I have to say that shipping was fast as I received these LC-2 Suspenders less than 48 hours after the order was placed. As far as condition is concerned, the LC-2 Suspenders I received appear to have experienced moderate to heavy use. The metal parts all have some degree of rust and some fraying around the shoulder pads and straps. The hooks all function well and I believe that overall it will hold up well under light to moderate use. Bottom line is, it's used, isn't pretty but, it'll do the job intended and that's really all that matters.

Being familiar with the varying condition of military surplus while also being too lazy to actually go to a local surplus store and dig through bins. I chose to seemingly play roulette and ordered these suspenders. I braced for the worst but was pleasantly surprised. No holes, no tears, no rot. No rust, no corrosion, not even the usual surplus smell (which I love). The little stretchy nylon bands that are supposed to square away the straps have lost their stretch. Oh well, an easy fix. Overall, my expectations were exceeded.
