The most exquisite cast, direction, scenery, etc...I purchased the collection on VHS decades ago, for my Mother;... we both enjoyed these programs tremendously!!Then, I replaced it with DVDs;(Sadly, her house was vandalized immediately after her entering into final rest,... everything was stolen :(I am happy to find these DVDs, maintenantMerci Beaucoups!! It is worth spending a little extra for top quality...One question: How can I expand the visual to"full screen"?? My tv is modestly small, and the original square frame is tres petit.And, could we possibly get English subtitles for us who are hard of hearing??Otherwise,.... great product!! :)

English speakers note:
Although packaging and disks are all in French,English speakers simply need to select from thedisk main menu "Versions", then "Version Originale"{English}, then either "Sous-Titres Actives" for subtitlesor "Sous-Titres Desactives" for no subtitles and now audiowill be English for all episodes on this disk.Package arrived quickly, except I missed delivery so it wassent to the local USPS for redelivery/pickup. Also it couldhave used more/better packing material to protect the lovelybox these disks are in.

Good... But....
Love the Poriot Blu-ray complete set..' EXCEPT' All the wording is in French!!! on the disk and DVD containers.Thank god, I can view it in English....

It should be clear that this is French.
It would’ve been nice if they made it really clear that this is a freaking French language spoken version. So needless to say, since we don’t speak or understand French, we’re returning it.

Don’t send European dvds to North American addresses!
All of the discs were in European format and unplayable in North American blue ray format! The listing on Amazon is all in English while the entire package is in French! Will be returning it.

Disappointed
This DVD was in French. I saw NOTHING in the England written description that mentioned French and I look for this as it’s been a problem for me with Amazon in the past. Because of this latest issue I will NEVER use Amazon to buy DVDs again!
